概况
Madagascar is an island country found in the western Indian Ocean off the coast of southern-east Africa. It is comprised of numerous islands, the largest of which is the island of Madagascar, it is the largest island in Africa and the fourth largest island in the world, after Greenland, New Guinea, and Borneo.
The official languages in Madagascar are Malagasy and French. The capital city is Antananarivo, commonly known by its abbreviation TANA.
The inhabitants of Madagascar are referred to as Malagasy and the country is subdivided into six provinces: Antananarivo, Antsiranana, Mahajanga, Antsirabe, Fianarantsoa, Toamasina, Toliara.
马达加斯加位于印度洋西部，隔非洲大陆东岸相望。马达加斯加作为最大的岛还附有几个大小岛屿。马达加斯加是非洲第一大岛，世界第四大岛, 前三大岛分别是格陵兰岛，新几内亚岛和婆罗洲。
马达加斯加的官方语言是马达加斯加语和法语。首都是安塔那那利佛，简称塔纳。居民被称为马达加斯加人，该国被分为六个省：安塔那那利佛、安齐拉纳纳、马哈赞加、安齐拉贝、菲亚纳兰楚阿、图阿马西那、图莱亚尔。
Antananarivo

Antananarivo is situated at the center part of the country, it is also the capital and the largest city of Madagascar.
位于该国的中部，安塔那那利佛是马达加斯加的首都及最大城市。
Antsiranana
安齐拉纳纳
Antsiranana can be found in the northern part; it includes Babaomby which is the peninsula paradise for windsurfing. Many smaller islands like Nosy Be, Nosy Iranja, Nosy komba etc. also can be discovered there beside the Amber National Mountain.在北方是安齐拉纳纳，它包括Babaomby，这是风帆冲浪爱好者的天堂。除了安伯国家山之外，还有许多小岛，比如诺西北，Nosy Iranja，诺西空巴等等。
Mahajanga
马哈赞加
Mahajanga is the seaside town in the western part; It is mosty famous for the Cirque Rouge near the beach but the city also has caves and natural pools。
马哈赞加是西部的海滨小镇，它最著名的是海滩附近的Cirque Rouge，但这个城市也有洞穴和天然游泳池。

Antsirabe

Antsirabe is the second largest city in Madagascar. The Railwaya station, the independance square, and the lake Tritriva are among the attractions of Antsirabe安齐拉贝是马达加斯加第二大城市。这里的火车站，自由广场，Tritriva火山湖是这里最吸引人的美景之一。
Fianarantsoa
菲亚纳兰楚
Fianarantsoa: in this town have a lot of scenic spots such as Ranomafana National Park; Geysers; Isalo and Andringitra National Parks mainly known for their canyons and sandstone. Manakara and its beach is also near Fianarantsoa菲亚纳兰楚阿：在这个镇上有许多风景名胜，如:拉努马法纳国家公园；天然喷泉；Isalo和安得里特拉国家公园，这里主要是峡谷和砂岩。马纳卡拉及其海滩也在菲亚纳兰楚阿附近。
Toamasina
图啊马西纳
Toamasina: is the most important seaport of the country. The Canal of Pangalanes stretches along the east coast from Toamasina. Its most visited beach is Foulepointe. The small island îles aux nattes next to Toamasina is a honeymoon destination图阿马西纳：是这个国家最重要的海港。潘加兰尼斯运河是从图阿马西那东海岸延伸的。它最受欢迎的海滩是Foulepointe。在图阿马西那旁边的小岛“îles aux nattes”是蜜月的目的地。
Toliara
图利亚拉
Toliara is in the southern part of the island where the Bemaraha tsingy, the Baobab Avenue and the small town of Fort Dauphin are located. It also has a beach with white sands and dunes.图利亚拉位于该岛的南部，那里有贝马拉哈Tsingy；猴面包树大道和多芬堡小镇，也有白色沙滩和沙丘的海滩。

Natural resources in Madagascar includes:
-Minerals such as strong Nickel, copper, and platinum, also graphite have been identified in Southern Madagascar.
-Fish such as cray fish, crabs, shrimp, tilapia, catfish and herring.

-Wood, Madagascar boasts nearly 10 million of intact, native forests containing unique plant species and about 900 species of orchids.
